yes these ARE bag gloves. I got them in size medium small n they are prolly 12 or 14 ounces. I usually wear something over 12 ounces when working on the bag bc i don't want any injuries to the hand.

@@billghli actually my friend has these same rival gloves lol. They are very similar to these gloves. The only major difference is shape but apart from that its almost the same glove just in different shape. Hopefully that helps.

@@yurikpikh28 thanks, I think the ones at my boxing gym are similar shape to the ringside gloves but my main reason for buying my own gloves is because the thumb space is so small and horrible. Everytime I wear them I can feel it like pulling my thumb back because they're just too short and tight but the sparring gloves are great. Would you know which out of the Ringside or Rival gloves have a bigger thumb space?

gloves held up pretty well. Ive had them for over the year and train for about 3-5 times in a week. Also gloves didn't not tear on the inside and padding is evenly distributed on the knuckles and side of the hand. So im pretty happy about the purchase. Ive had everlast gloves that would fall apart after 2-3 months of using them in gym so these ringside gloves are pretty durable. When u gonna purchase them u can get them as low as 35 bucks just pay attention on ringside website they often times have discount deals with coupons so u can grab them for really low. I payed 37 for mine. Good luck.
